Chimes Israel

Chimes established this not-for-profit organization in 1991 at the request of the government of Israel and the Municipality of Tel Aviv, who chose us because of the quality of our programs and our belief in each person's right to develop his or her fullest potential. Today Chimes Israel provides prevocational and vocational training, several types of employment, day habilitation training in independent living skills, and individual support services for people with mental retardation who live at home in their communities. We serve all citizens of Israel equally, and our programs operate successfully in such Arab municipalities as Taybeh and Tira as well as in Tel Aviv and Herzliya. We have become a model for other services and agencies in Israel, and we conduct regular training seminars for rehabilitation professionals.
